During the Festive Season, Tesero is filled with a traditional atmosphere going back to the 18th century. The town center, with many fascinating sites and charming architectural features because of their particular style, is transformed into a perfect stage for the event “Tesero e i suoi Presepi” (Tesero and Its Nativity Scenes). Terraced houses, archways and narrow streets, small openings and courtyards, as well as stables and cellars seem to be all part of a single nativity scene.
The big Christmas Crib and the path through the historical centre show a lot of Christmas cribs scattered in the ‘courts’. In addition, you can also visit the exhibition "Cribs from Europe" with many manifactures from different european traditions settled in Casa Jellici.
